Hi Pinheads,
I have been working out the last few bugs on my Atlantis, about time, I've had it for 15 years.
Anyhow, the match feature frequently lights 2 numbers at the same time, i.e. 10 and 20, or 40 and 50, for example.
I'm assuming that it is because the contact on the wiper is worn down and touching both contacts on the disc at the same time.
Seems like the wipers are unobtanium.
Maybe there is something I am missing?
Why are there two sides (discs and wipers) to this unit?
This is the first time I have looked at this cool little unit, other than a q-tip w/alcohol I haven't touched it yet.
Best,

I've not seen those worn that badly.

I think I have a few left, can't recall the part number though. Check
the parts manual and then check with PBR or my web site.

Check the back play on the wipers. you can make tiny adjustments. The
operators manual covers that adjustment. It is one reason I always
recommend getting the manual!

Why are there two sides (discs and wipers) to this unit?
One side is for the lights, the other is the circuit for the match
operation.

Thanks for the info John! I guess that makes sense about the 2 sides of the disc!

If you don't have the operators manual and schematics I do suggest a
call to The Pinball Resource and Steve will fix you up!

The tiny lever contact is stopping between numbers; You need to loosen the operation side board a bit and move it so the contact stops ON a number and not between; you may have to move the other side (lights) to be in concert with the number that the contact is on.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Don! I loosened the two screws on the "arm" that holds down the wiper on the "lights" disc side and moved the disc until only one match number lit. I simulated several games, found out that the match and the lit match value were incorrect, and re-adjusted the disc. Now the match feature and the lit value are in sync and only one match number lights. Awesome! Thanks again!
