The problem lies with google taking over the front end, and not being able to make much money on this medium. Thus, googleisn't spending any money trying to keep it sane and clear. They could very easily set some spam filters... but where's the money for them? Real shame. But it is what we get when we want 'free' services.
The greater mystery to me is how these spams could be effective! Anyone wanting illegal stuff stupid enough to buy from a web bot is taking a chance ant either getting scammed or stung.
But that is what the Darwin awards are for.

I just delete them - SPAM on Usenet is hardly new. At least the trolls
have gone elsewhere!
