I have a fried coil on a 1965 Gottlieb Bank-a-Ball.
It is on the "0-9" Unit.
Anyone know what the part number for getting a replacement coil would
be?
Any recommendations on where to buy such a part?
Extra credit: What are the most likely reasons the coil stuck and
cooked itself?

If you have a schematic the coil number may be on there. Get all you
Gottlieb em parts from The Pinball Resource. Call Steve Young an
explain what you need - he'll set you up.

Should be an A-1996 coil, available from PBR, $7.50 with sleeve.
Cause is probably a switch contact on one of the 0-9 activating relays
that is not opening, and is keeping the 0-9 coil energized. Check the
"point" relays.

Sorry, that should read A-1496. Typed it too fast.
