Pin-Del,
You need to find a Usenet feed! Perhaps Google groups (yuck) or one of
the free Usenet sites has a feed that your Safari browser (or FireFox)
can access once you log in.

Pin-Del,
Hi Pin-Del,

I have a Mac and an iPhone. I have not tried working RGP on an iPhone.
When you say 'RHP' is that what you are trying to do?

I use Thunderbird on the Mac to access the newsgroup on the Mac through
Eternal September. When I look on the iPhone App store, I do not see
Thunderbird listed. I cannot find an email client that will also do
NewsGroups.

I am afraid I cannot find any newsgroups reader native for the iPhone.
Only thing I can use is Google Groups.

If this was an iOS app, I think it no longer exists?

I looked at Power NZB and found nothing. I looked up Easynews usenet
and found nothing. I looked for Easynews found an app in Espanol. My
Spanish is terrible but it does not look to be a Usenet or newsgroup app.

I did go to usenet and see the following list.

https://www.usenet.com/best-newsreader-2017/

IMHO, all are fairly pricey just for a reader. Only one states 'Mobile
Friendly' at $7.50/mo. It is not clear to me what Mobile Friendly
means, but there is no software involved, so I am guessing that means
access via a browser. No different that Google Groups except it is not
free.

But I have found NewsTap Lite on the App Store which advertises itself
as a Usenet Reader. I have downloaded it (it gets bimodal ratings -
almost all high or low). I seem to have connected to eternal-september
but have yet to get to RGP.

Hey Pin Del. I got NewsTap Lite to work. I connected through Eternal
September. I have a username and password through them - I did that
years ago. Free. I used all the settings that I use on desktop in
Thunderbird. It took me a while to figure it out.

Only thing I cannot seem to do yet, is get the newest thread to the top.
I also have not tried to send a message yet.

If you need some hints at how to setup your iPhone to work with this,
let me know.

Thanks Lex for the info,
So far no luck using the Iphone yet my old Iphone worked with RGP ( the RHP was a typo ), But I'm having to get on the home PC to reply or Post to RGP & this computer is a Windows PC, I have a Mac to, But it's still in the box It came in .
I guess if I want to keep using my shop PC I might as well go ahead & replace the Cat 5 cable that is broken somewhere ( all 120 feet of it, since it did last 15 years ), But my back has all but gave out, Just waiting on the PVC pipe to bury it in this time, Bummer !

Thanks guys & I'll be back soon !

Pin-Del,

PS, If anyone wants to buy a Mac running El Captain cheap, $200.00 plus shipping !

and found nothing.
And here is my test response via iPhone.
Great, thank you for following through!

Sorry Pin-Del.

I can just suggest signing up for an account on Eternal September,
downloading NewsTap Lite (free) from the iPhone App Store, and putting
in your sign in information.

I can send you screen shots to your personal email if that can help.

120 ft of Cat 5 cable to replace is no fun. Sorry to hear it. I wish
I could help.
