I am having an issue with my Rocky and bullwinkle, the machine was looking for a missing balll and thrn a VUK coil did not stop activating, now
when i turn on the machine the coil keeps activating in a repetitive cycle :
Two times, then one time, two times then one time... and so on
Anyone knows what could be the problem?

Sounds like the switch that detects the ball in the VUK is flaky.
Sometimes stuff like this just happens. Try to adjust the switch
or unsolder one of the leads to it. If the problem goes away, replace the switch.
If that doesn't; work, it's likely an intermittently failing transistor on the power board.

Put the game into Switch Test (Active Switch if that exists) and hit (a
thump - not too hard!) the playfield with your fist - does the VUK
switch show closed?

If yes, then it either needs adjustment or the VUK ball lift assembly is
pressing down on the switch actuator when it should be floating on the
switch.

I can't see the driver transistor firing at random due to some
transistor problem, I am quite sure it is related to the VUK switch.
