Has anyone gone to this site to download the program recently? I just went there and it asked me to download a security program supposedly from Microsoft. I am a bit wary of sites that do this.

Since Leon has sadly passed away, I am wondering if perhaps someone has hijacked his website.

Thanks

That page is essentially blank. Nothing there but the header
WARNING: I went back to the old leon site and my anti-virus shut me out with a very severe warning.
I am still looking for the code if anyone has it.

Thanks.

A wee bit of digging turns up this link:

However there is nothing there on the Whitestar or SAM tests...

I misunderstood, I thought a previous poster (pinworks) was having

The page I was having problems with is the one that was first discussed by Leon(?) where he mentioned that he had created a Whitestar test chip and referred the group to his website. That website appears to have been taken over by bad elements. At least my spyware thinks so. I apologize for not being clearer.

If anyone has the code for a Whitestar test chip, please send it to Chris Hibler so that he can add it to Pinwiki.

Thanks to everyone.

Thanks for all the effort guys. I am searching on behalf of a friend who is in turn searching on behalf of a friend of his. Maybe after the first of the year I might look into the addressing on the whitestar with the idea of creating the code myself. I plan on cutting back on repair calls until the vaccine is ready for Covid. If I get anything that works, I will notify Chris Hibler to add it to PinWiki.

Nowhere does Leon mention that there is a test ROM for WhiteStar and SAM. The link that he posted is probably for another one of his perf boards loaded with discrete LEDs and a rotary switch. He used similar set ups like this to test the outputs of other platforms.
