I found over the weekend a pretty nice Dodge City pinball.

The playfield is pretty nice and the backglass is really in great condition. BUT, like a few of the others I picked up over the weekend, some of them, (3), have strange needs.

The Dodge City that I got has everything but a head.

I have all the guts for the head and I even have the mounting screws for the head parts to secure all to the head if it was there.

I understand how to build the front panel of this head. Meaning I would need the different holes and mounting areas, etc.. BUT, I really either need pictures of a Dodge City head or someone that might have a head for sale....

Head for sale meaning== a Gottlieb head from this era, once I might find someone that has one for sale, then I can progress from there. I realize the mountain that will have to be climbed as far as different area's of this head that will need to match up or line up with reels, credit wheel, etc.e.tc.

So, if anyone has anything that could help....I would appreciate it.

thanks

Ok..but IMOP i would of left them buried in there graves.. I have read the titles you rescued from the grave and wonder why you would want to spend that much time, money, headaches, fustration,on pins of that era that will probably cost you more to fix than they are worth when completed..Now if your graveyard find was a TZ,TAF,IJ, ect,ect era then id be all in 100% to fix them but your just wasteing time with these i'd just part them out or rebury them back in there graves where you found them..buts its your choice..Just my 2 cents worth and not trying to an ass here..

Good point!!!!

You know, I would have done just that if it wasnt for the fact that I got the three I am posting about was just about free. All the other games I picked up work and have the typical EM problems with them that you usually run into. There were only 3 that I went ahead and took only because when I was there, I told the owner that I decided I didn't want to take them and he said, they are thrown into the deal. Honestly when you look at it, I really didnt' pay anything for them. We added up and for the most part all three I might have spent 50 bucks. For that amount I have parts, backglasses etc..that are worth something. I do not buy 'pieces' of machines like this. In fact I never have. But I thought what the hell, he is throwing them in and I might as well take them since I have the room in the trailer. I have the 7 I picked up that work and have the typical problems I mentioned, that will find their way into the repair rotation. I am not one, and never have been one, to take time to strip games and sell parts. Matter of fact that is something that I really don't want to mess with.

No worries, I took your post as good information. I didn't think you were trying to be an ass or anything the like.... We decided that I would either give them a certain amount of time to hunt up what I need and then if nothing happens part them out, OR, put them in the back of the storage area and keep posting ad's etc...every so many months and see if someday something might happen.

The pitch and bats are complete, what is wrong with them I can fix....I posted about parts becasue I know John has always had odd parts..etc... The other pins, Teachers Pet, oh yeah...Blue Max (this machine I have had 4 times I think and I have never liked it) and what Hot Line, which was really strange to find. The Hot Line machine I picked up in the deal , just happened to be the Hot Line I sold 4 years ago. When I saw it I knew immediately that it was mine from years before. I thought it was so strange that it made it's way back to me ....somehow and from another state..etc. and the others are in good shape. Not great shape and not terrible shape, just what you would expect from someone that has a pretty large inventory and wants to sell and clean out.

Thanks for your two cents and if I ever part them out, I will contact you first to see what you want to buy! No, j/k, I was just having some fun..........
