Pushes you to trade and then comes up with a fairly believable story to have the game folded up ready to do a swap.

Which typically hides a machine that needs a ton more work than indicated, and then on the back end, "I had to get the board repaired" for more than a new one costs and sends a picture of someone else's board.

Proceed with extreme caution and diligence!

Wow. Sounds shady. No way would I do that deal. I'm going over a game with a fine tooth comb before buying. If its folded up, covered in cardboard and shrink wrapped, I'd say "unwrap it, set it up, plug it in, play a few games, or no deal".
