Hey all,

Anyone know a good source for pachinko machines? I've been thinking about
getting one lately. There are some on eBay that seem to be from a good
importer/seller, but they're a bit on the pricey side(or I'm just cheap!).

But if any one knows of a good weblink or two, let me know! Thanks

Seriously, what's the difference between the two? I always thought they
were the same thing. No?

Gotcha; pachislo is just a japanese slot. I seem to remember these weird
pachinko machines with video monitors built into the middle of them
simulating slot machines also being called pachislo machines. Ever seen
that before?

Sure have. But they're still called pachinko machines. They're just newer
electronic versions like this:

I have a few of the pachinko ball type machines fs in Maryland.

I'm thinking you might be speaking of pachislo slot machines however.

Nope, Pachinko machines. I dont really have any interest in a pachislo
machine. I saw and played a pachinko machine years ago at a swap meet, and
it was lots of fun back then. So I'm thinking about picking one up for
in-the-works game room.

The ones with the electronic displays look really cool, eBay has them in the
$200 dollar range. Its really not that expensive compared to a pin, but I'm
in college, so Im a bit cheap at the moment ;)

I remember living in the dorms at Cal Poly Pomona Calif. 20+ years ago.,
dragged a Pachinko machine into my room. Never played the damn thing, spent
all spare hours in the Student Union with the pinballs...Frenchy

Well, I hope you get one that's in good shape. My father bought one for
a fixer upper and we can't seem to find parts for it. The cool thing is
that it gives us an error code and everything. Just doesn't seem to be
parts available. I guess at $200 they are pretty much disposable. If
anybody knows where to get parts, specifically a pulse motor, drop me a
line. ^_^
