I don't know where else to go.I have a bally s5500 slot machine and
the battery died showing error code 81. I put a new battery in but
need the safe clear roms to get it back up and going. Does anyone have
these roms that they could burn me a copy and I could pay you for
them. Or anywhere I could get the files, or have them emailed to me
ect.

Thanks Shaun

I tried resetting with the pseudo and test buttons and it will not go
to CHC still just goes straight to error 81. The board is dated 1997.
I take it that this means I need the chips???

Thanks Shaun

Yea anything past like 1995 and you
need a clear chip on those Ballys.

Yea anything past like 1995 and you need a
clear chip on those Ballys.

You can try connecting the battery shorting
jumper, (usually resting on one side of its
2 connections), on the MPU with the power
off, hold both buttons in while powering
the machine on and wait for a "CL C" (clear)
message to display. If the message does not
appear, then its time to use clear chips.
Ram clearing chips weren't a requirement in
NJ until '99. You may get lucky! Just
thought I'd mention.

I have a blazing 7s machine. The test button does not seem to work. I have held it in like the manual says. But it never does anything different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
