Thinking about adding a jukebox to the gameroom. Anyone have first
hand knowledge on best route to go? We like the bubblers (for CD's).
Rockola and Wurlitzer seem to be the big names. Appreciate
thoughts/opinions

We have a CD-8 bubbler from Rockola that I bought used (and fussy) at an
auction. Some cleaning, cosmetic parts and lights, and a new carousel motor and
it works great now.

Here is a good site that compares the two major brands that you mentioned. But
please note, I really DO NOT recommend the company behind this web link, I am
only including it for your reference purposes. :-)

Good luck!

I think at one time Rowe and Rockola merged or something. To be honest, I'm not
sure, I could be mistaken. Mine is the classic bubbler looking CD juke, it says
Rockola on the front.

Antique apparatus use to use rowe guts in their bubblers....then AA
bought Rock-ola and began using their mechs instead.

Bang for the buck the ROck-Ola is the best choice....

If I had extra money to burn Id buy the Rowe.....

I own a Rock-ola and it has never given me 1 moments problem.

I build custom mp-3 jukeboxes, in full-size cabinets.
they can hold 2000 albums worth of digital music, and I have some that
also play the music videos.
loaded with music, these are still priced lower than the new or newer
cd boxes.

Hey Ken,
I own a few Rowe CD JBs that are not Bubble boxs & they give pretty
good service,
I had 2 of the Rowe CD-8 Jukeboxs & One Wurlitzer 1015 OMT CD box,,
I think Rowe, Rock-Ola & the Wurlitzers are all Great Jukes, But
Seaburg & NSM both
also made Bubble Boxs & of those Two, I'd only buy the NSM, I think the
Seaburgs are the worst of the bunch,

Only Bubble box left here is the Wurlitzer ,,
