ahh the 'Phantom of the Opera
(http://pinside.com/pinball/archive/phantom-of-the-opera) magi
mirror...the ball is screaming off the flipper up the center of th
playfield and then poof! its gone where did it go? I just saw it
second ago! oh wait, it just popped out of the playfield hmmmm that wa
cool
then my torsion spring broke on the magic mirror so that the ball woul
hit him and he would just stay open... kinda takes the "magic" out o
the magic mirror. Marco is out of stock (again) and this needs to b
fixed... no problem
you can go to the hardware store and buy 2 medium sized toggle bolt
(you know, the ones with the metal wings that spread out to grab th
drywall) using a pair of needlenose you can dis assemble toggles an
remove small spring (I used 2 springs, one on each side of magic mirro
door) remove magic mirror assembly from game, slide one spring on eac
side. reinstall and use needlenose to bend one end of the spring t
remain stationary and bend the other end to fit behind magic mirror doo
and your back in business... not only is this fix done for less than $1
but no need to wait for parts to arrive
sorry I cant add pictures because I traded out my phantom a few week
ago
hope this helps someon

there should be a black metal diverter ramp under the organ, mine wa
missing and I had the same problem trying to get ball to fall throug
playfield...It looks like marco has them in stock...don't forget th
left and right hinge you have to order them seperatl

Nice fix Cosmo. I never did figure that spring-tension sweet-spo
before I sold my POTO.

MainSource... yeah,,, the metal flap needs to hang/swing free, s
when the ball hits it, the flap dissipates the balls speed and it drop
down into the slot-hole. (but not every time... still get som
bounce-back
