1994 TFTC bought in 1998. Absolutely NO PROBLEMS except a broken plastic drop target--since fixed. Played machine after about three months of non use. Played fine all day. Turned machine on two weeks later--virtually nothing except G.I. lights. As it stands, the G.I. lights all work. The DMD comes on for about a second, then flashes and goes out. Nothing else except an occasional vibration from the shaker motor. Tried to check fuse voltages but fuses on the PPB-1 board kept blowing after about a minute or less. Fuses F3, F5, F8 and maybe F6 (all Slow Blow) blew during that first minute, some with a bright flash. Any ideas? I'm guessing maybe a problem on the PPB-1 board itself. A bad coil wouldn't blow all those fuses. This is the only Data East game I have and no problems with it previously. If it sounds like the board, any ideas on who could repair such a problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm lost (easy enough to do.) Thanks, RIC

Remove the solenoid and flash lamp fuse(s) when testing pinball games
that aren't working properly.

Now, check for good 5VDC in the MPU board. That must be there for
anything else to work.

If good then let us know.

I always recommend that the PPP board be removed and the backside solder
connections for all the Molex pin connectors be resoldered to deal with
hairline solder cracks.

Gotta go now, but perhaps that will get you started...
