I have a data east jurassic park that suddenly the T-rex stopped
working during game play.

when I turn the game on it states T-Rex switch failure. In test mode I
can move the head left and right with the flippers, when the head is
in the center switch position i press the start/credit button and you
can hear the motor making a sound but the head does not go up and down
and when I pull the trigger to make the mouth open and close I get
nothing

You'll probably have to dig into it. The switch failure may be related to
it's not moving and not getting hit. Something is broke or slipping. You
won't know unti you get in there. LTG :)

Did you check all the fuses, especially the one on the bottom side of
the playfield all the way at the back? Also, check the cpu for a blown
transistor. These are the two things that caused this issue with my T-
Rex.
