Does anyone know where the ROW 1 is on the circuit board. I am getting an error code GRD SHORT ROW 1 WHT-BRN R-1

Remove the ROW 1 connector from the CPU and see if error remains or not. If it does your CPU needs some work. That would be the small connectors on the bottom of the CPU, look for the one with a white wire/brown stripe.

If you remove the connector and the error goes away, then the problem is out in the game on that line with the white wire/brown stripe. Your manual has a switch matrix so it's easy to figure out what switches to check on that row.

Look them over for anything obvious. Short to wiring, switch lugs bent together or shorting to metal.
