I like both games but which has more staying power?

It is hard to compare games from different eras, even though they are
very similar.
I have both side by side, just played T3 yesterday. T2 is fun but tends
to get the boxes piled on the glass more than T3.
T3 is flashier and has better sound. Either love or hate RPG backglass.
T2 has the Williams feel and has more flow than T3.
If I had to keep 1 it would be T3 but it would be close.

T2.

T3 has your typical "clunky Stern" feel to it. Stern is getting much
better, but T3 just isn't their best game. I would agree that T3 has
better sound, and also has much better DMD animation, however, T2 was
Williams' first DMD game.

There are not enough words in the English language that will
sufficiently show how incredibly wrong I believe this statement is.

I 've owned(and sold) both. I guess I would say what are you looking
for in a game? T2 is a Ritchie classic and fun but T3 is kind of a
sleeper title with a decent bit of depth although it gets easy to
master after awhile in home use. It got to the point I could walk up
to it and get the Final Battle more times that not.

Yea, nothing like getting that right loop going.
Kind of like the Shadow right loop, it gets so fast it is almost self
defense.

Neither.

Both fun, but both grow old quickly.

Long gone from my collection.

Geez, Fred you got rid of these but you keep AFM that you don't like?????

I 2nd your opinion though - either is ok to play occasionally but you're
not going to hit start over and over on either.
