I posted way back in May of 2012 when I started this project on RGP..
but I never really followed up here until now...
In an unprecedented move, the code update I made to Data East STAR WAR
was officially released by Stern Pinball on December 24, 2012.
This 20 year old classic game has gotten a completely newly balance
rule set, additional sounds, timed ball save functionality, and muc
more. The age old complaint that the ramp shot was overpowered has bee
addressed. STAR WARS is no longer a one-shot game. Many of th
suggestions came directly from the community. The feedback sinc
release has been overwhelmingly positive. STAR WARS has a whole ne
life now. This update has been dubbed The 20th Anniversary Edition.
All that is needed to experience this update is to swap out one ROM o
the MPU board.
