Post by John RobertsonPost by infraredCan you please send the manual of the Genesis ?
Gottlieb LLC owns the copyrights to these manuals and as such while you
can get a good paper copy (or a factory original from any source) from
Pinball Resource, scans are hard to come by as they are illegal.

Scans are readily available, as most here have for decades been trading
quality scans with others. GTB has apparently defended the rights,
however most manufactures for decades have put defunct and no longer
producted product manuals online for existing owners to download. The
issue is do you know someone, or have something to offer others, and get
into the trade of digital representations of manuals to make others
interested in what you ask? Also, maybe you can simply post an email
and get someone nice enough, anonymously or not, to send you a link or
the actual .pdf of the manual or schematic. Bottom line, these
documents belong to the owner of the machine, not some copyright holder.
If you have the machine and need the documentation, it was the intent
of the producer of the machine to have manuals and schematics in the
hands of those who owned. The paper pushers of today skimmed the paper
from the games, and now are in cahoots or profiteering from the
reproduction of the documents. Buy into that thought, and you have lost
the original intent of the producers of the game, and thus the paper.
To believe otherwise is a very distorted fabrication of original intent,
and the reality of paper traders, profiteers, and the real world of
digital content.
